A network of support for children with challenging behaviour
I have worked with children for over 13 years in schools, private homes, Churches, organisations and charities before founding The Child Behaviour Network. My goal is simple: I walk alongside parents and carers, equipping and empowering, to ensure your family are having fun and enjoying parenting, feeling confident in managing children's behaviour, and have a network of support for your family.
I have seen first-hand how powerful it is when parents and carers of children with additional needs and/or challenging behaviour understand why their child is behaving the way they are and know how to respond.
I would love to get to know your family and find out how I can help you to take the next step to a happier and healthier home. I provide a combination of consultancy, coaching, workshops and webinars to develop bespoke practical strategies that really work in the short term, but are also beneficial in the long term.

About me
Nicola Wigglesworth
My formal training is as a Norland Nanny, I have a first class degree in Early Years Development and Learning and a Norland Diploma, graduating top of my year.

I am passionate about children being able to access all areas of life to the fullest, regardless of their needs. I have an academic background and use this as a foundation for my work, but my years of experience mean I also understand the reality of raising and caring for children with additional needs or challenging behaviour. This combination of expertise and experience, makes me uniquely qualified to support you and your family.

I focus on a child's strengths and needs, and a diagnosis is not required, but the types of needs I specialise in supporting are typically categorised as Autism, ADHD, Sensory Processing Difficulties, Attachment and Trauma needs, or Down's syndrome.

Over the years, I've completed a wide range of qualifications in parenting, child development, behaviour management and psychology, drawing from a wide range of evidence-based approached (too many to fit here!). Below is a selection that gives a sense of the breadth and depth of my training:
